Related Services provide developmental, corrective and other supportive services required to assist a student with a disability.  All related services are recommended by the Committee on Special Education (CSE) to meet the specific needs of a student with a disability.  The services are delivered within a Genesee Valley BOCES program or by contract with a component district.

Related services that are offered at Genesee Valley BOCES include:

• Speech-Language Services
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Teacher of the Deaf
• Vision Services
• Counseling

The Genesee Valley BOCES also provides consultation services that include:

• Autism consultation
• Developmental Outreach Consultation Service (DOCS)
• Psychiatric consultation
