Visiting Experts

Visiting Experts is specifically designed to provide enrichment programs directly connected to core curriculum areas that are not arts-related, such as science, math, or social studies. These events must occur at the school. General enrichment opportunities will be provided for all students.The CoSer for this program is 415.000 / 415.001 (at school).
The Genesee Valley BOCES will provide a listing of experts for participating districts. Other experts requested by the district or suggested by BOCES are also eligible. Districts may also request experts in particular fields, and the BOCES staff will work to identify appropriate people.
In general, presenters may provide assembly programs for specific grade levels, or they may work with each classroom individually in a particular grade level.
