    Mix has experience in the areas of Acute Care, Hospice, Trauma, Emergency Services, Ambulatory and Ancillary Practices, System-level, Not-For-Profit, For-Profit, Faith-Based, Studer and Magnet Facilities and Hospital Administration. Her past work experience includes:

    • Senior Director of Nursing at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo Medical-Surgical and ICU Inpatient units
    • System Director of Clinical Excellence and Performance Improvement, Rochester General Health System, Rochester, New York
    • Director of Clinical Resource Management and Patient Flow, Kaleida Health, Buffalo, New York

    Barbara Dodson, LPN, ASHSA
    Regional Medical Programs Specialist

    Barbara Dodson holds dual AAS degrees from Bryant & Stratton College; Health Services Administration and Graphic Design, as well as Certificate in Computer Applications. She is an alumnus of the Genesee Valley BOCES Nursing Program. Dodson is continuing her education and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration. She has both clinical and administrative experience in both behavior and physical healthcare fields and has an extensive background in management and customer service.  

    Janet Green, RN, BSN
    LPN Instructor

    Green has been a nurse for 37 years.  Much of her career has been spent in emergency medicine and supervision.  She is also the Health Director for Genesee Rotary Camp, which is a summer camp for special-needs children.  Green holds a dual BS degree and is working on her master’s in nursing education.

    Marisa Dale, RN, MS
    LPN Instructor

    Dale has been a nurse for 23 years. She completed her AAS in nursing at Monroe Community College. She holds a BS in nursing as well as a master's in nursing education from St. John Fisher College. Dale has worked in a variety of settings, from coronary care units at both Rochester General Hospital and Strong Memorial Hospital, Community Health Nurse, Nurse Manager, and Rehab Nursing. Most recently, Dale was an RN instructor at Monroe Community College.

    Alyssa Coffey, RN, BSN
    Clinical/Lab Specialist
    Coffey’s experience as a charge nurse encompasses acute care settings, as well as, high-risk obstetrics. In her previous role at the University of Rochester Medical Center, she supervised, supported, and trained new nurses in proper techniques, care standards, operational procedures, and safety protocols. She holds an Associate Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
